Special Considerations for Radiology Room Retrofits

Updating an existing radiology room with new equipment presents its own unique set of challenges, which is why it is necessary to review current engineering before determining the best way to move forward with your project. Depending on what's behind your drop ceiling tiles and what kind of access we have to the original engineering drawings and calculations, we may be able to update your existing supports with some minor tweaks, or we may need to engineer new supports from scratch.

A full engineering review is a critical step in the process, which can't be eliminated, as specific support requirements vary by machine. Improperly engineered supports may lead to safety issues, poor machine operation, injury, liability issues, and may even void your warranty in the event that there is an equipment failure.
